With a complementary blend of construction, property development and building management experience on some of Australia’s landmark projects, Rod is able to think like an owner, understand the time sensitive financial metrics of a developer and deliver the technical proficiency of a builder.

Prior to founding Axeon Plus, Rod was the Queensland Managing Director for one of Australia’s largest tier 1 contractors and property developers. With over 30 years in the construction and development space, he has built an enviable profile within the industry for his business acumen, relationship management and technical capabilities.

Having overseen the procurement and delivery of over $4 billion of works in the multi-residential, commercial office, retail, leisure, health, education, and industrial sectors, Rod has a long and sound track record of achieving practical and balanced outcomes promoting the best interest of the project.

Rod has a depth of relationships across our trusted consultant and supply chain base that assists Axeon Plus to deliver cost effective solutions to our project partners. He is able to negotiate sound commercial outcomes for all parties, but most of all, he listens intently to the drivers of our clients businesses and works intently to support those drivers. Axeon Plus delivers on its promises.

Rod holds an honours degree in Civil Engineering, a Masters Degree in Applied Science (Construction Management) from the University of Waterloo in Canada and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He is chair of Master Builders Members Legal, a former director of Master Builders Queensland, a director of the Building Employees Redundancy Trust and a director of Construction Income Protection.
